Deionized water rinse, multiple stages for critical applications.
Iron or zinc phosphate crystalline layer promotes coating adhesion. Essential for corrosion performance.
Trivalent chromate (RoHS-compliant) or anodic prep for aluminum. Improves paint adhesion and corrosion base.
Oven dry before powder application — water droplets cause fisheye defects in powder coat.
